Evaluation Paragraph:
The written portion of this project was quite strong to motivate the readers. It was supported with examples and ideas, however, in the writing, I was not able to smoothly relate one paragraph to the other. The positive factors of my speech was being able to make eye contacts with the audience. Without the presence of eye contact, any speech can become boring, no matter how good the writing is. There were also some parts that I made mistakes, but I was able to overcome this by staying calm. Although in my writing, the transitions weren't good, when I was doing my speech, I was able to move on from one paragraph to another by using eye contacts and pauses, which made the speech run smoothly.
The negative parts of my speech was probably the lack of tone and voice control. As commented by others, I lacked voice tones to show my passion and emotion towards this problem. I personally think it was mostly because of the nervousness I had during the speech, but the tones were mostly monotone as for what I remember. Another part that I should have done better was probably the use of gestures and postures. In my opinion, I was too stiff with the poses, and did not express the emotions involved in the speech with my body. I should have moved around the room, and use the given space more to attract the audience.
